Unfortunately at the moment, due to staff illnesses, we are closing at 4:00 pm each day and also closed all day on Wednesdays. ‘After a weary trudge around no less than 3 so-called ‘Superstores’ in Donny the day, I still hadn’t got what I was looking for – A flush handle for a porcelain loo. At each store someone emerged from behind the miles of shelving, scratched their heads and announced that “they don’t make them like that anymore, all with have is this size and this colour here. I then had a brainwave….The Hardware store on Thorne Road up near the Wheatley Hotel. arrival at Discount DIY a member of staff looked at me, got his ladders and looked out the right thing from a drawer up there somewhere. It didn’t cost the Earth – and it is now fitted and works perfectly’
